GENERAL RULES.

These rules apply to all events in the Sahyadri Robotics Competition. >

BOT USAGE

  • Bots must not be shared between teams.
  • Each team should use only their registered bot throughout the event.

CONTROLLER POLICY

  • Only the assigned operator is allowed to control the bot.
  • Controller changes are not allowed during the competition.

TIME REPORTING

  • Teams must report on time as per the event schedule.
  • A 3-call rule applies; teams failing to report after 3 calls will be disqualified.

TOOL RESPONSIBILITY

  • No tools will be provided by the organizers.
  • Teams must bring their own repair kits, spares, and tools.

READYMADE BOTS PROHIBITED

  • LEGO kits or commercial bots are not allowed.
  • Bots must be designed and built by the team.

ARENA & BOT SAFETY

  • Any team causing damage to the arena will be disqualified.

WIRELESS & POWER

  • Organizers are not responsible for wireless interference.
  • Bots must be powered by a DC source not exceeding 12V at any two points.

BOT DESIGN

  • Bots must maintain the same structure throughout the event.
  • Gripping, lifting, or anchoring mechanisms are not allowed unless specified.

RULES & AUTHORITY

  • Judges’ and organizers’ decisions are final.
  • Rules may be modified on the spot if necessary for fair play.
